The Social Design Center (SDC) is a hub for fostering knowledge and talent that connects society with the university and promotes value creation through co-creation.
By bringing together diverse stakeholders—including universities, corporations, and local governments—and combining their respective expertise and resources, the SDC aims to generate knowledge and develop talent to solve societal and regional challenges and create new value.

Co-creation Program

A hands-on program for value creation on an equal footing with companies

This project brings together companies, faculty members (project management experts), and students to form “teams” that work together to solve corporate challenges and create new business ventures.

About program

Hiroshima Value Shift Program

A program that creates new value with companies and other organizations, starting with talent from metropolitan areas

This six-month, hands-on continuing education program aims to create added value for local companies and revitalize the region by accepting key talent from metropolitan areas as visiting researchers at Eikei University of Hiroshima, matching them with companies driving transformation for the future of Hiroshima Prefecture, and working to solve the management challenges these companies face.

Eikei University of Hiroshima Council of Practical Learning Platform

To realize student-driven learning and contribute to societal development, Eikei University of Hiroshima has established the “Eikei University of Hiroshima Council of Practical Learning Platform.” This council comprises companies, local governments, and international organizations from within and outside the prefecture that collaborate with the university on its practical education initiatives.

Project Workspace
PROJECT WORK SPACE(PWS)

Based on the concept of a “space for co-creation that generates new social value,” we have opened the PWS to members of the Eikei University of Hiroshima Council of Practical Learning Platform. We aim to make this a community space where diverse stakeholders from society can interact to create new social value.
Anyone affiliated with a member company or organization of the Platform is welcome to use the space, which can be utilized for posting event flyers and networking.

University-Spin-Off Ventures

As part of our efforts to give back to society through the outcomes of our education and research, Eikei University is committed to fostering university-spin-off ventures. To contribute to the local community by widely sharing our research outcomes with society, we certify and support ventures founded by our faculty, staff, or students as “Eikei University-Spin-Off Ventures.”
