Promotion of the Elimination of Discrimination on the Basis of Disability
In accordance with the enforcement of the Act on the Promotion of the Elimination of Discrimination on the Basis of Disability (Act No. 65 of 2013), the University has established the Guidelines for Faculty and Staff Response, which set forth the fundamental principles regarding the prohibition of unfair discriminatory treatment on the basis of disability and the provision of reasonable accommodation, as well as the development of a consultation system and other matters necessary for faculty and staff to respond appropriately.

Fundamental Principles and Basic Policy on Diversity
At Eikei University of Hiroshima, based on the “Fundamental Principles and Basic Policy on Diversity” adopted in April 2024, we focus on the diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity and aim to foster an environment where each member of the University community can respect one another’s diversity and feel safe and comfortable in their educational, research, and daily lives.
