A member of the Alumni Association delivered an encouraging message to new students at the Autumn 2026 Jump Start Workshop.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, an alumnus of the Alumni Association (EiPit) took the stage at the Jump Start Workshop (JSW) to deliver an encouraging message to students who enrolled in the Autumn of 2026.

Drawing on personal experiences, the alumnus spoke on topics including “Why I Chose Eikei University of Hiroshima,” “My 4 Years at EUH,” “What I Got at the University,” and “Career Plans.”

Having studied at Eikei University of Hiroshima as an international student, the speaker shared honest reflections on university life and career development from the perspective of a senior who once stood in the same position as the new students. The presentation covered experiences gained through research projects, internships, and volunteer activities during university, as well as the speaker’s career path and current activities after graduation. The message provided new students with a valuable opportunity to begin envisioning their own futures.

A question-and-answer session followed the presentation, during which many new students actively asked questions. The audience listened attentively to the alumnus’s experiences, creating a lively atmosphere for interaction and exchange.

Although the new students appeared somewhat nervous at first, their expressions gradually softened as they listened to warm words and real-life experiences shared by their senior. The occasion also provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the activities of the Alumni Association (EiPit) to new students and foster meaningful connections between alumni and current students.

The Alumni Association (EiPit) will continue to contribute to the growth of the Eikei University of Hiroshima community by strengthening connections between alumni and students.
