A.Y. 2026 “SDGs, the World and Us: Toward Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”

“Creating a Sustainable World and Us: Toward the Achievement of the SDGs”

From June 10 to 12, a joint Japanese-English class was held for the required course “SDGs, the World and Us: Toward Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”

The course focused on the five Ps linked to the 17 SDGs—Peace, Partnership, People, Prosperity, and Planet. Following interactive sessions led by experts specializing in each of these areas, students developed and presented solutions to social issues they had identified based on the 5P framework.

On the second day, students were divided into groups using color-coded cards according to their interests and areas of concern.

(At EUH, “People” was by far the most popular category!)

Finally, the Dean delivered a message emphasizing that “Social System Design begins with imagining a desirable future”.
