Disciplining myself and being independent—that’s what makes every day fulfilling.
Q. Is there a particular time of day you especially enjoy?
I like my free time. Lunch break, in particular, is a precious time when I can hang out with friends or enjoy the view from the 15th-floor cafeteria. Also, walking through the streets of Hiroshima on my way to the gym or school helps clear my head.
Q. Please tell us what you do to make the most of dorm life.
I try to keep my room clean and put things away immediately after using them. Even w hen I’ m busy, I make it a priority to manage my time and maintain a consistent daily routine.
Q. Is there anything you’ve realized or learned through dorm life?
I’ ve learned the importance of responsibility and self-management. By organizing my own life, I’ ve also developed a sense of independence and consideration for those around me.
