Creating Positive Social Change Through Global Partnerships
A Global Campus to Learn Through Practical Real-World Challenges
II chose Eikei University of Hiroshima because it offers a unique learning environment where students from different countries and cultures can study together. I was also drawn to its Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, which allows us to solve real-world problems rather than just learning theory from textbooks.
Connecting Knowledge with Global Action Through Development Economics and SDG 17
Among the liberal arts courses, the class I enjoyed most was Development Economics. Learning about poverty, inequality, and sustainable development was extremely satisfying to me because it helped me understand real-world issues and think deeply about how we can create positive changes in society.
Through these studies, I became particularly interested in SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, especially international partnerships between countries and organizations. Many global challenges—such as poverty, education, and refugee support—cannot be solved by one country alone.
As a student from Bangladesh studying in Japan, I have seen firsthand how cooperation between different people and institutions can create meaningful impact. In the future, I hope to contribute to partnerships between Japan and Bangladesh to support sustainable development projects.
Driving International Development and Shaping Better Social Policy
My goal is to build a career in international development and social policy. I would like to work as a project manager or social development specialist in an international NGO, a development organization, or a socially responsible company.
Embrace the Challenge and Discover Your True Potential
If you are looking for a university where you can meet people from different cultures, improve yourself, and learn through real projects, I highly recommend Eikei University of Hiroshima. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. University life is a great opportunity to grow and discover your potential.
