The revolutionary development and widespread adoption of digital technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing have expanded opportunities for digital transformation (DX) utilizing these technologies beyond large corporations to mid-sized and small businesses. However, advancing DX presents various challenges, making its implementation far from straightforward. This seminar will explain the “success factors” for mid-sized and small businesses to seize DX opportunities and overcome difficulties, based on case studies from Ishikawa Prefecture. It will also introduce the “Digital Innovation Design Methodology,” which outlines how to design DX advancement using a framework and step-by-step process.
