The First Alumni Association (EiPit) General Assembly Held

Alumni Reunite In Person and Online for the First Time in Years, Sharing Updates and Celebrating Their Connections

The inaugural Alumni Association (EiPit) General Assembly was held in a hybrid format—both in person and online—at Eikei University of Hiroshima on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Since the establishment of the Alumni Association (EiPit) by the university’s first cohort of students, this gathering marked the very first official reunion of its graduates. The event brought together not only alumni but also current students, faculty, and staff, creating a warm atmosphere filled with joyful reunions, nostalgic memories from student days, and lively updates on each participant’s current endeavors.

During the General Assembly, participants heard opening remarks from Ms. Fujiyama, the association’s president and a key member of the founding preparation team. Attendees also shared personal updates, reviewed the association’s bylaws and executive structure, and discussed the establishment of an honorary chairperson. Furthermore, active exchanges of ideas took place regarding future alumni activities, making the meeting a meaningful opportunity to take new steps toward fostering an enriching community—one that supports ongoing learning and sustained connections.

Following the General Assembly, a social gathering was held for those who wished to participate. Laughter filled the venue from start to finish as alumni enjoyed reconnecting in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. While celebrating their long-awaited reunion, participants exchanged heartfelt stories, from personal and professional experiences after graduation to cherished memories from their time at the university. The gathering became a warm and memorable moment where nostalgia blended beautifully with new discoveries.

Through this social event, attendees were once again reminded of the significance of the bonds shared among alumni. It proved to be a valuable opportunity that deepened a sense of connection and strengthened anticipation for future engagement within the community.
