On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, our university co-hosted a student-led international exchange event with Prefectural University of Hiroshima, an institution under the same corporation. This event was planned and organized by students of Eikei University with the aim of promoting global exchange and cross-cultural understanding.

The highlight of the day was the creation of a 27-meter-long rolled sushi (makizushi). Participants worked together in complete three types of sushi rolls, each filled with different colorful ingredients. The venue was filled with smiles and lively conversations, creating a friendly atmosphere beyond nationalities and university boundaries.

Through this unique experience, participants had the opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures and deepen mutual understanding. The event is expected to further enhance international exchange between the two universities.
