Brief Abstract of Lecture:
The power of a “virtuous cycle” can accomplish big tasks: the building of a building, the management of an island, the revitalization of a city. Let’s look at a few fascinating positive feedback loops that are a part of the built environment, and see what we can learn from them. However, maybe the best way to understand a system of mutual benefit is to get caught up in it yourself. I’d like to share with you some loops that I’ve had the opportunity to witness or participate in.
