If you require any official certificates—such as a Certificate of Graduation, Academic Transcript, or Certificate of Earned Credits—please apply either in person at the Educational Affairs Office or by mail.
In accordance with the Hiroshima Prefectural Ordinance on Certificate Issuance Fees, a fee of 700 yen per certificate request will be charged.
Applying at the Counter
Please bring the following items and complete the Certificate Request Form at the counter.

Certificates are generally issued on the same day.
However, English-language certificates cannot be issued on the same day.
Issuance of English-language certificates requires approximately one week, so please allow sufficient time.
You may complete the Certificate Request Form at the counter, but you may also download the form from this page, fill in the required information, affix your seal, and bring it with you.

Applying by Mail
Please send the following items to the Academic Affairs Section of the Educational Affairs Office.

1. Certificate Request Form
Please include the following information:
・Current address
・Full name (including former name, if applicable)
・Date of birth
・Year of enrollment and graduation
・Type and number of certificates requested
・Purpose of use
・Whether a sealed envelope is required
・Telephone number
Be sure to affix your personal seal (inkan) after your name.
2. Handling Fee
Prepare 700 yen in postal money orders per certificate.
3. Self‑addressed Return Envelope (Long 3 envelope)
・Write the applicant’s address on the envelope and affix 110 yen postage.
・For English-language certificates, use a Kakugata No. 2 envelope with 140 yen postage.
(For three or more certificates, 180 yen postage is required.)
・For express delivery, please attach an additional 300 yen in postage.

・After receipt of your application, delivery usually takes 3–5 days.
Issuance of English-language certificates requires 1–2 weeks, so please allow sufficient time.

・We cannot mail items outside of Japan.
