Message
I took a Doctor of Engineering on the theme of the environment, studied food engineering (container and packaging recycling), and had conducted education and research in environmental economics at Kobe University since 2003. At Kobe University, we founded NPO Gomi Japan, in which students are core members, and worked on social system design that aims to reduce containers and packaging automatically. Through this activity, students experienced the actual movement of society by working in collaboration with companies, governments, and citizen groups. At Eikei University, I would like to make use of this experience to solve the plastic waste problem and food loss problem together with students.
