Achieving improvement in energetic drive and global collaboration

When I decided to enroll at Eikei University of Hiroshima, I didn’t yet have a clear dream or career path. However, I held a vague desire to challenge myself with new things and grow into someone who could make a meaningful impact on society. What attracted me most was the opportunity to be part of the university’s inaugural class and help shape a new institution with our own hands. The international environment where I could learn alongside exchange students, and the curriculum focused on practical English skills, were also key factors in my decision.

Through my university experience, my aspirations gradually became more concrete. In particular, participating in activities abroad allowed me to step outside my comfort zone and meet people with diverse values, greatly expanding my perspective. This strengthened my desire to take on even more challenges.

One of the most memorable experiences was the “Project-Based Learning,” where we worked with real companies and organizations to tackle actual issues. From analyzing root causes to proposing solutions, we spent a great deal of time thinking and collaborating with teammates. This process significantly enhanced my energetic drive and global collaboration.

Moving forward, I hope to apply the competencies I developed at Eikei University to address local issues in Hiroshima. At my workplace, I aim to carefully and sincerely tackle each challenge, contributing to society step by step. With a multifaceted perspective and a global mindset, I want to help create new value within the community.

To future students at Eikei University of Hiroshima, I encourage you to take bold action without fear. Follow your own pace and pursue what you truly want to do. Don’t be afraid of failure—embrace the journey and enjoy the process.
