Q. Tell us how you’ve been creative in your dorm life.

I struggled with managing meals and my time when I first moved into the dorm, but cooking became easier when I began making meals ahead of time. And as time went on, I became more confident about going out on my own. And thanks to my friends, unfamiliar places are gradually beginning to feel more like home.

Q. What is your favorite part of the day?

Sometimes it is having fun with my friends but other times I like to go for a walk around the university to get some fresh air, it helps me relax from a stressful day!

Q. What have you realized or learned through living in the dorm?

I have learned about the balance between independence and cooperation, and have become aware of how important it is to consider others while living communally. By communicating with people from different backgrounds, I have learned how to respond to others with thoughtfulness. I have also become more aware of my surroundings and have built better relationships.
