We are moving away from tangible assets toward an “intangible asset economy” built on data, intellectual property, and AI. This marks the dawn of a new age where past success stories no longer provide a roadmap. While generative AI can offer answers based on vast amounts of historical data, it is human “wisdom” that is essential to bridge that past and the future.
As Japan faces a rapid population decline, we must dramatically increase the value created by each individual to ensure a prosperous future. This is precisely why innovation is so desperately needed. The essence of innovation lies in “New Combinations”\u2014the merging of diverse knowledge and ideas in unprecedented ways. At our university, where one in four students is an international student, the collision of different perspectives and sensibilities serves as the very wellspring of transformation as we dream of a new world together.
At Eikei University of Hiroshima, students acquire the broad perspective needed to understand society as a whole, alongside the practical skills to realize their own dreams. By tackling real-world social challenges, you will experience firsthand how this knowledge and these skills translate into meaningful action.
