Career Design at Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The educational program is a seamless combination of classes and career education, connecting students to “society and business” throughout their four years of study, and allowing them to face their careers on their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The educational program itself is an educational program that society truly needs, nurturing “changemakers who can positively change people and society” who can learn on their own, create their own jobs, and bring innovation to society in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, students who intend to work for a company can submit a proposal for a new business the day after joining a company, and students who intend to start their own business can launch a new business globally or locally immediately after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Career Design Office<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
To support students’ diverse career design, the Career Design Office serves as a hub station, networking with related organizations such as Career Mentors, Eikei University of Hiroshima Council of Practical Learning, and Entrepreneurship Development Community etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, dedicated career advisors are available for career consultation at any time, books and other materials related to careers are available for reading, open space is available for students to talk with staff and career mentors, and private booth is available for online interviews with companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m Yuki Adachi, and I\u2019m available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After graduating from college, I worked in sales section of the apparel industry and at a lingerie manufacturer and later provided employment counseling and job placement services at a public employment security office, HellowWork. Following that, I worked at a public university\u2019s career center, supporting students with their career development and job searches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drawing on that experience, I place great importance on working with each individual to find a \u201cway of working that suits them best.\u201d
My hobbies include swimming, hiking, and enjoying good food. Actually, I often learn new things from students, and hearing about worlds I didn\u2019t know existed is one of the things I look forward to most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, I\u2019m happy to help with career planning and job hunting, but you\u2019re also more than welcome to come talk to me even if you\u2019re just at the stage where you\u2019re thinking, \u201cI don\u2019t know what I want to do\u201d or \u201cI\u2019m feeling a little lost.\u201d Please feel free to drop by the Career Design Office with the same casual attitude as if you were chatting with a friend at a caf\u00e9. My name is Watanabe. I have been working as a career advisor since April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my previous career, I worked at a national university for 30 years. During that time, my duties related to my current role included handling recruitment in the Human Resources department and providing career and employment support at the Career Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thirty years is the span of time it takes for a 20-year-old student to turn 50. I\u2019ve met many different students over the years, and looking back now, those are very fond memories.\u3000
I hope that all of you who are at a crossroads in your lives will be able to make choices that you feel good about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To that end, I\u2019ll listen to your experiences and explore your interests and values as we work together on what\u2019s often called \u201cself-analysis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Career Mentor System registers adults active on the front lines of society as career mentors who are available to advise our students on career planning and thereby enable them to pursue a variety of career paths after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n
