Joint Research<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Joint research refers to research conducted jointly with Eikei University of Hiroshima faculty members, funded by private organizations or similar entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedure for Joint Research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Submission of a joint research application form by the company, municipality, etc. to Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Issuance of an acceptance letter from Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Conclusion of a joint research agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Payment of joint research expenses based on invoice of Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Funded Research<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Funded research refers to research, testing, prototyping, or surveys conducted by Eikei University of Hiroshima faculty members at the request and expense of private organizations or similar entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Procedure for Funded Research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Submission of a funded research application form by the company, municipality, etc. to Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Issuance of an acceptance letter from Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Conclusion of a funded research agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Payment of commissioned research expenses based on invoice of Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Research Expenses for Joint and Funded Research<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Research expenses for joint and funded research are calculated based on mutual agreement with the requesting organization, using either the Knowledge Value Method<\/strong> or the Lump Sum Method<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      (1) Knowledge Value Method<\/strong>
      The requesting organization bears the total amount of direct costs, indirect costs, intellectual contribution costs, and strategic industry-academia collaboration costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
