{"id":5108,"date":"2026-07-22T14:16:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T05:16:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/?post_type=news&#038;p=5108"},"modified":"2026-07-22T14:16:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T05:16:48","slug":"a-member-of-the-first-graduating-class-who-joined-satake-corporation-spoke-as-a-guest-speaker-at-a-special-lecture","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/news\/5108\/","title":{"rendered":"A member of the first graduating class who joined SATAKE CORPORATION spoke as a guest speaker at a special lecture"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Mr. Mitsutaka Hisada and Mr. Francis Ddembe of SATAKE CORPORATION (Headquarters: 2-30 Saijo Nishihonmachi, Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) appeared as guest speakers in the \u201cIndustry and Business Model\u201d course taught by Vice President and Dean <a href=\"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/academics\/researcher\/details_00350\/\" title=\"\">ISHIKAWA Masanobu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Ddembe is a graduate of the university\u2019s first graduating class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/satake3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17378\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is offered as <a href=\"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/academics\/feature\/liberal_arts\/\" title=\"Liberal arts subjects\">a liberal arts<\/a> course for second-, third-, and fourth-year students. It is designed to foster entrepreneurial spirit and provide instruction on \u201cglobal careers\u201d and \u201csolving social issues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a special lecture, we invited two representatives from SATAKE CORPORATION to speak. They introduced the history of technological development undertaken by SATAKE CORPORATION to address challenges in food and agriculture.
