On July 9, 2026, Eikei University of Hiroshima welcomed 10 students from Gyeongju Girls\u2019 High School in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea, together with accompanying teachers and other representatives, for an international exchange event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized to promote mutual understanding through interaction between Korean high school students with a strong interest in Japan and Hiroshima and students of Eikei University of Hiroshima. The program included a lunch exchange session held at Eikei Top on the 15th floor of the university, where participants shared a meal and engaged in conversation. The Korean students also gave self-introduction presentations, followed by a presentation introducing Eikei University of Hiroshima by the EUH students. Throughout the exchange session, natural conversations emerged at each table, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating university students commented that they had enjoyed interacting with the visiting students over lunch despite differences in language and culture, and that speaking directly with high school students from overseas had broadened their perspectives. For the visiting students, the event provided an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of university life in Japan. At the same time, it served as a valuable learning experience for Eikei University of Hiroshima students, helping to cultivate a more international outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eikei University of Hiroshima remains committed to creating opportunities for student-led international exchange and fostering an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can learn from one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
