3rd-year student NYAN LINN HTET has been involved in launching \u201cCaf\u00e9 Society,\u201d a multicultural exchange caf\u00e9 run by refugees from Ukraine, Myanmar, and other countries, which opened on June 27, 2026, in Higashi Ward, Hiroshima City. NYAN LINN HTET has been involved in this project since the conceptual planning stage of the caf\u00e9. It all began when he heard the owner\u2019s dream of \u201copening a caf\u00e9 centered on culture\u201d and felt a deep connection to that vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYAN LINN HTET shared her deep passion and sense of fulfillment regarding his work as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I\u2019ve been involved in this project from the very beginning. When I heard about the dream of opening a caf\u00e9 based on cultural themes, I\u2019ve been supporting it ever since. What I find most rewarding is being able to introduce my culture and traditions to so many people. Through this caf\u00e9, I\u2019ve also been able to build many meaningful connections. I feel that these experiences are what matter most to me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For NYAN LINN HTET, this activity serves not only as a way to share his home country\u2019s culture, but also as a valuable opportunity to meet and engage with local residents and deepen mutual understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our university places great importance on initiatives that enable students to engage with the local community and society while taking action that draws on their diverse cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
