Mr. Kono shared his insights on “DIY Your Future: Rethinking Architecture & Community,” reflecting on his experiences as a student and the efforts he has built upon since then.

At the beginning of the lecture, he stated that “one of the biggest purposes of learning at school is to meet friends.” The connections he formed with his colleagues at Tsumiki Construction were also born in a learning environment, emphasizing the importance of friendship. He discussed how his philosophy of “co-creating” connects creators, masters, users, and communities, leading to the shared joy of building living spaces together and fostering more collaborative relationships.

“To build a home is to be immersed in joy. A joy so full, it overflows.” True to this belief, Mr. Kono has upheld Tsumiki Construction\u2019s motto of “co-creating,” sharing the company’s journey while inspiring students with his experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He concluded with a heartfelt message: “The friends you meet during your four years in university will be treasures for life. Cherish them. And start with small projects that seem achievable\u2014just start!” His words served as a powerful encouragement for students to take initiative and forge their own paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture resonated deeply with many students, inspiring them to reflect on their own paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I learned that no matter how difficult something may seem, passion can turn even the smallest step into a significant change.” ” His journey and experiences were a great source of encouragement for me, giving me the courage to start a project I had once thought was impossible. ” Mr. Kono, thank you for sharing your invaluable experiences with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
