{"id":1532,"date":"2025-05-12T16:01:14","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T07:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/?post_type=news&#038;p=1532"},"modified":"2025-05-12T16:01:14","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T07:01:14","slug":"professor-soda-and-an-euh-alumna-to-speak-at-the-2025-hiroshima-business-forum-for-global-peace","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/news\/1532\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor SODA and an EUH Alumna to Speak at the 2025 Hiroshima Business Forum for Global Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Professor SODA Yoshinobu and Eikei University of Hiroshima alumna Ms.FUJIYAMA Misaki will be speaking at the <em>2025 Hiroshima Business Forum for Global Peace<\/em>, will be held for two days on May 30 and 31 in a hybrid format (both in-person and online)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor SODA will serve as the moderator for Plenary Session 5 titled <em>\u201cHiroshima Spirit <em>\uff0d<\/em>Hiroshima\u2019s reconstruction and how to create the future<em>\uff0d<\/em>\u201d<\/em>, which will take place on May 31 from 11:20 to 12:30.<br>Ms. FUJIYAMA, a first cohort graduate of Eikei University of Hiroshima and current representative of Li-mone as well as student director of the <em>Pride of Hiroshima<\/em> exhibition, will appear as a speaker in the same session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Professor SODA will speak at Partner&#8217;s Session 5 presenteed by <em>\u00a0the Tokyo community of Hiroshima Business Forum for Global Peace<\/em>, titled <em>\u201cBeyond Sustainability \uff0dThe Potential of New Capital to Integrate Business and Peace\uff0d\u201d<\/em>, scheduled for May 31 from 12:40 to 13:50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum aims to promote the role of business in contributing to international peace. Influential global business leaders and prominent scholars will gather to explore the intersection of peace and the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing and the end of World War II.
