{"id":1287,"date":"2022-06-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-05T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eikei.dev.db-force.net\/english\/news\/1287\/"},"modified":"2025-03-27T12:48:37","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T03:48:37","slug":"details_00537","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/eikei.ac.jp\/english\/news\/1287\/","title":{"rendered":"Special lecture on cross-cultural negotiation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span>Special lecture on cross-cultural negotiation<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"cms_text\">\n<p>On May 26, we had a special joint lecture for the four classes of the first-year students Prof. Yuko Uesugi teaches.&nbsp;<br \/>\nWe invited Associate Professor Dr. Fuyuko Takita.&nbsp; She gave us a lecture on cross-cultural negotiation, all in English. Dr.Takita obtained an MBA and a Ph.D. while she was studying and working in America (Hawaii and the US mainland)for 15 years.&nbsp; She has been a good friend of Prof. Uesugi for many years and now is a research collaborator. She currently teaches English and supervises international students at Morito Institute of Global Higher Education, Hiroshima University. We were fortunate to have four international students she teaches.
