Days of Learning Filled with Encounters and Experiences<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contributing to Local Communities Through My Interests in Railways and Fishing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before entering university, I had a vague hope of engaging in community development that made use of my interests in the ocean and railways. I wanted to contribute to the growth of Hiroshima by leveraging these attractions to promote tourism and exchange in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While searching for a university where I could pursue this dream, I was strongly drawn to the practical courses at Eikei University of Hiroshima, such as group work and Project Based Learning (PBL)<\/a>. I felt that a learning environment where I could tackle problem\u2011solving with peers and participate in collaborative projects with local companies would allow me to put my ideas into practice. That sense of possibility led me to choose this university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaining Strength Through Daily Practice and Collaboration with Peers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The class that influenced me the most was the Liberal arts subjects<\/a> Fieldwork Studies. Looking back, I realized that the fieldwork methods and interview techniques I learned there were skills I later applied effectively in Project-Based Learning (PBL) <\/a>and in my Degree Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through classes and group work at Eikei University of Hiroshima, I also developed the ability to communicate my thoughts and opinions clearly to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By collaborating with peers to complete projects, I learned the importance of sharing roles, respecting one another\u2019s perspectives, and working toward a common goal. These experiences significantly strengthened my Global collaboration<\/a>, one of the five competencies emphasized at the university. I believe that these experiences helped me gain confidence and encouraged me to take on challenges more proactively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I step into society, I know I will encounter even more people from different backgrounds. In such an environment, I hope to actively apply the Global collaboration I cultivated at Eikei University of Hiroshima. I am also excited to make use of my English skills<\/a>\u2014another ability I developed during my time here\u2014since I expect to communicate with people from overseas in my future workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Message to Prospective Students and Juniors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I hope that all future students will actively take on new challenges and connect with many people throughout their university life. It is within new environments and unfamiliar experiences that you gain the most learning and realizations\u2014and these are what truly lead to personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my own case, it was exactly through such experiences that I learned so much and met friends who became irreplaceable to me. Because of that, I was able to enjoy four deeply fulfilling and meaningful years at Eikei University of Hiroshima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
