Four Years of Rediscovering Myself at Eikei University of Hiroshima<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before entering Eikei University of Hiroshima, I didn\u2019t have any particular dreams or aspirations. I simply thought, \u201cI want to find what I truly want to do at this university.\u201d I was just an ordinary high school student without a clear vision for the future. After graduating from high school, I became passionate about cycling and spent much of my time exploring various places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were three main reasons I chose Eikei University of Hiroshima. First, I was attracted to the environment where I would be encouraged to speak English regularly. Second, the \u201cProject-Based Learning\u201d offered practical learning through collaboration with real companies\u2014something I believed I couldn\u2019t experience at other universities. Third, I wanted to try living on my own. I saw living independently, away from my parents, as a valuable opportunity for personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through my studies at Eikei University of Hiroshima, my goals and vision gradually became clearer. What stood out most was the opportunity to reflect deeply on myself. During university life, I had chances to engage in self-analysis, which helped me understand myself better. As a result, I was able to start shaping the dreams and aspirations that had previously been vague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the courses, the Project-Based Learning had a significant impact on me. It gave me the opportunity to imagine myself working in society. Specifically, I learned how to identify issues and explore approaches to solving them together with my group members (colleagues). Through this process, I developed foresight, strategy, and energetic drive. I also learned the importance of teamwork in solving problems and gained global collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I\u2019m not yet sure exactly how I\u2019ll contribute at my future workplace, I want to explore that path while taking pride in my actions and efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To future students and juniors, I want to share something I felt strongly at Eikei University of Hiroshima: \u201cPeople are often kinder and warmer than you expect.\u201d I used to struggle with asking others for help and would sometimes get stuck trying to handle problems on my own. However, when I did hit a wall, the faculty and staff at Eikei University of Hiroshima were there to support me and helped me catch up.
